Out of a dual winning mare this youngster ran a cracker when a close second to the well regarded J P McManus owned son of Walk In The Park Shuffle The Deck. This Borris maiden has been a very strong contest in previous years and this year looked yet another top level renewal. This fellow stayed on strongly in testing conditions and did well to press the winner to less than two lengths. He is out of a dual winning mare and out of a sister to Saint Calvados suggesting he could well be a youngster to go to the very top.
