A fine imposing sort who was sent off favourite given his lofty reputation at Armagh on his debut. Making the running on debut left him something of a target for his rivals but on the steep climb to the final fence he showed an impressive turn of foot before being collared in the dying strides for victory. At this stage he had already shown himself to be a straightforward and talented youngster with a big future. He has the scope to tackle Grade 1 tracks and being out of a sister to Bellshill suggests he has the pedigree to allow him progress to the top level also.
