  • Purchaser: Emmet Mullins
  • Price: £125,000

An exceptional performance from this fellow. This race was run in a very fast time and yet it was he who was up on the pace from the drop of the flag. When his companion in pace making dropped away after two mile he merely increased the tempo and by extension the pressure on his rivals behind. Many were toiling a long way from home. When the promising Mags Mullins trained runner up came to challenge at the last it seemed as though he would be something of a target but this brought out the best in him and he quickened yet again to the line and won with some authority. He is a most exciting sort with a big future. A smashing individual and a 70,000 store he is out of an own sister to Barnaviddaun and from the family of Samcro and Sound Man suggesting he is a classy type.
