This son of Wootton Bassett made a very pleasing debut at Tralee on Saturday when only just beaten by a length. He caught the eye when making good progress from the second last, he came with his challenge approaching the final fence but a slower jump at the last saw him on the back foot. However he battled gamely all the way to the line and was only just denied. He has lost nothing in defeat here and on the basis of this performance it won’t be long before he gets his head in front. He is out of dual Grade 1 winning mare Harmonious.
