Found Beau is a progressive son of Finsceal Fior having finished sixth on debut at Castletown-Geoghegan in early April. He took a notable step forward when turned out just a week later in Stradbally. Proving to be at home on the underfoot conditions, he was ridden closer to the pace and was produced to join the leader approaching the home bend. Avoiding drama at the penultimate fence, he kept on well in the straight to be beaten just five lengths by a mare that has since advertised the form by finishing second in a winners’ contest at Bartlemy recently. He is a horse going in the right direction.
