Description
By the exciting up-and-coming sire Crystal Ocean, Crystal Du Berlais showed considerable improvement from first to second start as she won with real authority at Loughrea. The winning time posted was the fastest recorded on the day. The most impressive aspect to her performance was the ease at which she assumed control, landing in front two out and securing the race in a matter of strides. She showed a good turn of foot to move away from the second, and two quick, accurate jumps at the final two obstacles sealed what was an impressive performance.
