He built on the promise of his debut run at Ballyknock to record an authoritative victory at Tattersalls on his second outing. Taking on seven rivals in a divide of the four-year-old geldings’ maiden, the Wings Of Eagles gelding made virtually all the running and stayed on strongly for a five-length victory. He appeared to show a willing attitude in winning and stayed on powerfully, with the runner-up never getting closer than within a length. He is a half-brother to several winners, including Listed performer Taponthego and he should develop into a smart staying prospect on the track going forward.
