Description

Machu Picchu made a most pleasing start to his career in the 4&5yo Maiden at Badbury Rings. The 4yo son of Shirocco was noticeably green in the race but shaped with the utmost promise for the Chris Barber yard. He only gave best to a more experienced rival on the run to the line and it was probably greenness that ultimately cost him the gold medal. He looks sure to improve a bundle for this initial experience and hailing from a proven nursery looks a lovely type to go forward with for new connections.
